Foragaz owns 3 oil drilling rigs which have a capacity drill wells at depths varying between 400 and 2,000 m deep. One of these drilling rigs is equipped to carry out completion work on wells up to 2700m in depth. The company also owns a multitude of auxiliary equipment to achieve drilling work as well as other types of work leading up to the development of wells.

lienThis small size single drilling rig can be moved by a light truck (pickup truck 2500). It can be installed easily on low impact drilling sites. With a drilling capacity of 400 m, this equipment can also be used for sampling unconsolidated deposits (split spoon) and the installation an observation well. Many shallow wells (geothermal and groundwater wells) who have encountered significant inflows of natural gas have been abandoned with this drilling rig.

lienRig #1 is a single drilling rig (30 ft) with a drilling capacity of 1,000 m. This drilling rig is a Barber type which has been modified to carry-out drilling and completion work for oil and gas wells in Quebec. Having drilled as much in Nova Scotia as in Quebec this equipment is extremely versatile and combines a rotation head as well as a swabbing winch.

lienRIG #3 is a double drilling rig with a "box-on-box" structure type. Specifically designed to work in Quebec, this equipment can be moved during thaw period and on all roads in the province. This drilling rig was designed and built in 2010 and has been operational since October 2010. It can drill vertical wells up to 2,000 m in depth with drill stems of 101 mm. Built in the Lotbinière region (Fortierville), it is the last achievement of Junex’s division Foragaz.

2 units of 10 ' x 60 ' that can accommodate two people to live on site 24/7. These units include: bathroom, kitchens, bedrooms and office.

Specially designed to burn the natural gas encountered during drilling, this equipment meets the new standards of the oil and gas industry with respect to security and prevention while protecting the environment.

Capacity: 2,000 m in 0.092 ", 14 Mpa
Operation:

Pressure: 1,700 kPa (250 Psi)
Phase: Gas/liquid
Maximum gas flow: 250 103 m3/jr (digital pressure gages and flowmeters). This unit is mounted on a trailer and includes 50 m of steel pipes (7 MPa), a flare stack and an adjustable choke of 19 mm.

In order to carry-out long term production testing, we own mobile pumping units that can rapidly be installed on a drilling site to pump the liquid produced from the well.
Capacity: up to 150 m3/d (depending on the type and size of the casing)

Operating pressure: 10 MPa (1,500 psi) and 35 MPa (5,000 psi)
These two devices are used to measure the liquid level in the wells without lowering equipment in the well. The surveys can be taken from the inside of the casing or annular spaces.
